I am offering the option to purchase or rent this series one session at a time...

  • You can rent sessions (streaming only) for $7 each — $28 total. Each session contains multiple videos, available for 30 days after placing your order, but once you start any video you'll have 72 hours (three days) to finish the session. You can watch as many times as you want during that time.
  • You can purchase sessions individually (to stream or download) for $9 per session — $36 total. This option lets you stretch out payments while taking your time with each session.

Or you can buy all four sessions at once for $32. Go here for more info.

Session 1: Imagination

If you haven’t already watched the Pre-Meeting, watch that first (video 1). It was the setup for the live course, introducing Kley’s work, available resources, assignments, and exercises for study.

The two main lectures on Imagination spotlight how Kley worked. I introduce metaphors (Process & Flow) and showcase his ability to imagine living characters with physical and emotional sensation (Gesture & Empathy). Feedback spotlights the student work that followed.

  1. Pre-Meeting with Feedback* [53 minutes]
  2. Imagination: Process & Flow [46 minutes]
  3. Imagination: Gesture & Empathy [23 minutes]
  4. Feedback Session: Imagination* [33 minutes]

You can rent or buy the remaining three sessions of this course whenever you're ready. Here are the links:

Here are endorsements from past students and colleagues:
“I love your style of teaching, you make hard concepts so simple.”
—David Kusiak
“Thank you for the insightful lectures like always! I never fail to leave inspired, brand new, and full of more energy!”
—Erika Chan
"Although I am an educator and not an artist, lots of creative effort goes into what I do. I wish that all the teachers I work with could have heard your message.”
—Shelley Arnold
“You have no idea how much your teaching has helped me. Of all the teachers I have ever had, of all the professional experience I’ve had, none has impacted me as much as your classes. I only hope I can manifest half of the enlightenment you’ve brought to the class room — I wouldn’t want to let the students down. It’s hard to follow in your tracks!”
—Tina Leah-Schmidt, Former instructor at CSUF
